[omniORB] Question about omniNotify

I have been using omniEvents for a bunch of our software for a few years
now... and have had many features implemented to meet our needs [Alex did
all the work :-) ], such as the federation capabilities, etc.

Now we have an application for IPC where we need event filtering, and were
thinking of using omniNotify...

- Has anyone used it on a large scale project?
- What performance does it offer (tps) ?
- What about reliability (crashes/hangs/etc) ?

Thanks for any info provided...

Unless you (or someone else) wants to take up maintenance of omniNotify,
I'm not sure it's a good idea to use it for a new project. It isn't
currently actively maintained.

Having said that, it is stable and in use in some large projects. I
don't have any performance figures off hand, I'm afraid.

Cheers,

Duncan.
