[omniORB] omniorb ubuntu 9.04 help

Hello all,

getting error

omniORB: Error: Unable to create an endpoint of this description: giop:tcp::2809
Failed to initialise the ORB / POA: INITIALIZE_TransportError
Is omniNames already running?


when I try to start Omninames, also trying to start Omniorb4-nameserver just returns a fail, not sure whats going on or if its that old conflict between ubuntu 9.04, omniorb and ipv6.

Any idea's?

What version of omniORB?

Is anything else listening on port 2809? Run netstat -aneep to see.

If that doesn't reveal anything useful, run omniNames with
-ORBtraceLevel 25
