Hello,
I quite urgently need a working omniORB and omniORBpy for a windows
64bit environment.
The requirements are to use python 2.7.3.
I got the omniORBpy 3.5 running before with python 2.6 without any
problems, but with the 2.7.3 release i cannot get it to work.
By reading the mailing lists i stumbled into the mail, quoted
hereafter. It seems that i have the same problem. I played around with
omniORB 4.1.6 win64 vc10 py27, omniORBpy 3.5 win64 py26, omniORBpy
3.6, but no success.
I don't have the possibility to recompile everything for my
environment, so a packaged something would really be nice.
So here my question(s):
- Does somebody has a packaged version i could use?
- Is there some easy way to build a working version from the pieces
on the download section?
I am really out of ideas for the moment, so every piece of help would
be really appreciated
Thanks in advance
Sam

Hello.
I've installed on a "empty" WindowsXP 32bit python2.7.2 binary
distribution (msi) from python.org, and
omniOrb-4.1.5-win32-vc10.zip + omniOrbpy-3.5-win32-python2.6.zip, both
from the omniOrb download pages.
The problem i face is the following:
C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator>python
Python 2.7.2 (default, Jun 12 2011, 15:08:59) [MSC v.1500 32 bit
(Intel)] on win32
Type "help", "copyright", "credits" or "license" for more information.
File "<stdin>", line 1, in <module>
ImportError: DLL load failed: The specified module could not be found.
however, the module is found...
Could you, please, have a look into this?
Am I missing something?
Thanks a lot.
