Dear Duncan,

Is it currently possible to use (or else how much work will it take to
add) an omniidl option such that
the idl compiler does not have to actually include (and therefore depend
on) other idl files?

If that can be done the omniidl compiler can run its backends and
generate all kinds of files
from a single idl source and just generate include directives in the
generated files.

It would greatly simplify the use of omniidl in a larger build framework
operating on lots of idl files.

Best regards,

Will Denissen.

I'm afraid I don't quite understand what you're asking for. Can you give
a step-by-step explanation of what you want?

Cheers,

Duncan.
