Yes, it does contain a few Windows binaries. They are wrappers for
various compiler commands that understand how to convert cygwin paths to
Windows paths. They are included in the source distribution to avoid
pain and manual work when compiling on Windows.

They're nothing to worry about. They don't affect any platforms other
than Windows.

My problem is not in the presence of Windows binaries, it is in the missing
of .h and .cpp source files in the archive... where can I found them on sf
tgz files ?

Oh, I see. I've downloaded the archive and it's fine for me. I think it
must have become truncated as you downloaded it. It should be 3183418
bytes in size. Try downloading it again and see if that helps.
